MUSCAT: Several health sector personnel emphasised that the interest of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, and the attention His Majesty accords to the health sector in the Sultanate of Oman, along with the continuous support accorded to the healthcare system, reflect His Majesty's keenness on the health and safety of the people of Oman and its residents.
They pointed to the Royal blessing of His Majesty the Sultan for the establishment of specialised industrial clusters for pharmaceutical industries and medical devices in economic and free zones, explaining that it represents a noble gesture that enhances national drug security, supports the process of industrial localisation in this vital field, and consolidates the position of the Sultanate of Oman in this strategic sector. — ONA
